Week1A: Template Theme

For as long as I can remember I have been a very indecisive individual. I have always liked things in a very particular way and to no surprise this situation was no different.

To be honest with you all, the last word that anybody would describe me as is tech-savvy, which is hard for me to admit considering I have grown up in a society completely immersed in technology. So as you can imagine, trying to navigate a website I've never heard of to try and create a blog (something I never thought I'd do) was far from a relaxing process.

I get easily overwhelmed with too many choices and with something that I'll be using for an extended period of time, who could blame me for being picky. I'm not going to lie and say that most of that time I spent on here wasn't wasted on trying to figure out how to navigate this site, cause it was. I had been going back and forth on a theme for almost an hour prior to narrowing in on this one. I really wanted something that wasn't too busy, but also something with a little bit of character. It's also nice that this print has been trendy lately. This is my choice for now, but I wouldn't be surprised if as time goes on I decide to tweak it.

Til' next time- x

  1. Hi, I totally understand what you are saying. It was not an easy process for me either to pick a design. Since I have never wrote a blog before either. But I think you made a good decision. The design what you choose has a character and at the same time it is a clean design.

  2. I certainly agree that too many choices can be overwhelming and problematic. I think you'll get the hang of this site in no time. I did see that its relatively easy to upload your own custom image and change all aspects of your blog too.

  3. Hi there,

I'm right there with you. It took me forever to pick a theme, nothing really caught my eye. I even went on third-party sites that have Blogger themes to see if I liked any of em. I'm not usually a fussy/picky person, but I nothing really resonated with me. I just ended up opting for something dark and simple. Too many of the other themes were too vivid for me.
